This case study showcases the digital transformative we helped facilitate for Australia’s largest customer-owned bank, which faced the complex challenge of implementing a multi-million dollar comprehensive IT upgrade.
With a customer base of 730,000, 2,000 employees, and assets totalling $23.3 billion, the bank was ready for a monumental digital shift, and we were ready for the challenge.
The cornerstone of this upgrade was the MuleSoft AnyPoint Integration Platform, a choice we recommended that addressed the existing risk of information silos and operational inefficiency. COGS helped turn this challenge into an opportunity.
From building an Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) from scratch, with no prior operational team for integration, to establishing a globally distributed, 20-member strong team from multiple vendors, COGS was instrumental in every step of building People First Bank new IT digital capabilities.
The endeavour was not just about technical implementation; it was about redefining the bank’s operational framework, focusing on an omnichannel approach, and ensuring the bank’s merger success.
Our role was pivotal in guiding the bank from a nascent stage in digital integration to a position of strength, wherein they emerged as a leader in member-centric services and operational excellence.
